DC Police Officer Accused Of Lying About Leaks To Proud Boys Leader
A Metropolitan Police Department lieutenant with loose lips was arrested on Friday for allegedly lying about leaking confidential information to the far-right Proud Boy leaders, federal authorities announced. Shane Lamond, 47, of Stafford was indicted on charges that include obstruction of justice and three counts of making false statements on Friday, May 19, in connection to the destruction of a Black Lives Matter banner in December 2020.
