Officer Shoots Suspicious Armed Man During Pursuit In Northwest DC: Police One person was hospitalized overnight when an officer was forced to shoot him during a foot pursuit in Northwest DC, officials say.  At around 8:30 p.m. on Monday night, members of the Metropolitan Police Department on patrol in the 900 block of F Street NW tried to stop a suspect they believed to be carrying a weapon. Wanted Suspect Compliments Officer's Motorcycle Skills After Stafford Pursuit A man wanted out of Alexandria and Stafford is in custody after a foot pursuit. Deputies responding to reports of a suspicious person at the Red Roof In on Garrisonville Road found Dorian Murphy, 25, dart into the wood line around 4:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
