An Ohio man is facing charges after leading a high-speed pursuit through Stafford County Saturday, Jan. 14, police said. Deputy J.W. Ahern tried to stop a Toyota Sequoia headed west on Garrisonville Road near Eustace Road for not having any rear lights around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said in a release. A deputy with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office was hospitalized after being injured by a woman who struck a patrol car and fled, authorities said. It all began when police initiated a traffic stop on a speeding Nissan Altima near the intersection of Garrisonville Road and Eustace Road around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
