Armed Dog Abuser Leads 12.5-Mile Pursuit-Crash In Fairfax County: Police A 30-year-old animal abuser was arrested after a 12.5-mile police pursuit in Fairfax County, authorities said. Daniel John Sol, of Lorton, approached a person walking their dog on the 9600 block of Eaton Woods Place in Lorton on Tuesday, Oct. 24, around 4 p.m., county police said. Sol picked up the dog and began shaking it, without provocation, police said. He fled the area but returned with a knife and threatened to stab the victim.
