Report Of Gunshots Prompts Lockdown At Northwest DC High School A report of gunshots prompted a lockdown at a Northwest DC high school on Friday, Nov. 18, authorities said. The DC Police Department responded to Jackson-Reed High School, formerly named Woodrow Wilson High School, on Chesapeake Street after receiving a report of suspects in two vehicles exchanging gunfire, they said on Twitter around 3 p.m. Prelim info for sounds of gunshots in the 3900 block of Chesapeake St, NW-suspects in 2 vehicles exchanged gunfire.
