Stolen Honda Struck By Train Killing 1, Hurting Two In Northern VA One person died and two others were seriously injured when the driver of a stolen Honda sedan drove around traffic stopped as a train was coming, and was struck by the train, authorities said. The crash happened around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the intersection of Route 17 (Winchester Road) and Route 712 (Delaplane Grade) in Faquier County, Virginia State Police said. Virginia Man, 22, Dies In Pennsylvania Tractor-Trailer Crash A 22-year-old Virginia man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on a Pennsylvania highway over the weekend, authorities said. Evan Dennison, of Berryville, was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township, on Sunday, July 23, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Dennison was pronounced dead at the scene, at 2:53 p.m. All westbound lanes were closed for several hours. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.

Teen Was Going 40+ MPH Over Limit In Head-On VA Crash That Killed Another Driver: Police A 16-year-old has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection to a crash that killed a 62-year-old woman last March, authorities said. The three-vehicle crash occurred on March 9 on Georgetown Pike. Detectives were able to determine that the teen driver of the 2020 Audi A5 was driving over 80 mph in a 35 mph zone and that alcohol was not a factor, according to the Fairfax Police Department.  Karla Boggess, 62, of Berryville died of her injuries four days after the Audi driver lost control of his car and crossed the center line, hitting her Nissan head on, police reported. …
