Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Fairfax County May Have Been Drinking, Police Say Authorities have identified a 37-year-old pedestrian who they say may have been drinking when he was struck and killed by a vehicle this week in Fairfax County. Khalid Magan was trying to cross Baron Cameron Avenue around 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, when he was struck by a Ford F-250 heading west, county police said. Magan was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene. Speed and alcohol were not considered to be factors in the crash for the driver.
