'May Chill' Will Be Followed By By Drizzly Memorial Day Weekend Across DC Area, Forecasters Say It won't be a complete washout but it certainly won't be a picturesque Memorial Day Weekend in the Washington DC area, forecasters are saying. "A Memorial Day weekend washout is not in the forecast for most of the Northeast, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some weather disruptions at times, especially in the mid-Atlantic, AccuWeather.com reports.
