Intoxicated Man Threatened To Burn Down Church, Woman's Home In Virginia, Sheriff Says
A Virginia man is behind bars after threatening a woman and her church in Stafford County, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office said. Over the weekend, deputies were called to investigate a reported disturbance involving a 22-year-old Stafford resident Keven Opoku and a woman. The incident was called in shortly after 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 on Firebrick Drive. 8-Hour Standoff Ends With Man Threatening Arson, Exposing Himself In Custody: Arlington PD
A 37-year-old Arlington man has been arrested for exposing himself and threatening to burn down his apartment building, police said. Officers were called to the 4300 block of Lorcom Lane where Isaac Meals had been on a balcony throwing items off of it around 2:45 p.m., police said. Meals was inside of the home but officers said they saw him threaten to burn it down and expose himself, they said. A Florida man brought a new approach to customer complaints when he had a problem with an employee at a motel in northern Virginia this week. He threatened to blow up the place, police said. Alexander McCadden III, 27, was staying at the Econo Lodge on Dumfries Road in Dumfries on Tuesday night, June 7, the Prince William County police said.
