Pair Arrested Weeks After Group Surrounds Vehicle, Fires Shots In Arlington: Cops Two arrests have been made in a shooting that happened earlier this month in Arlington, police said. Elijah Broadus, 21, and  Isaiah Grady, 18, were charged for their roles in a shooting in which at least one person in a group of six fired at a vehicle leaving a parking lot on S. Kenmore Street and 23rd Street S., on Dec. 2, Arlington County police said. Broadus was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle, discharge of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and wearing a mask to conceal identity, police said. …

Details Released In Shooting Near Preschool That Brought Police To Arlington Block A 21-year-old man was jailed after his firearm discharged during a fight near an Arlington preschool, bringing a heavy police presence to the scene last week, police said. Arlington's Chase Smith displayed a handgun during an argument with another man around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 on the 2200 block of S. Kenmore Street, county police said. The two began physically fighting over the gun, during which a shot was fired, police said.
