Centreville Shooting Fairfax County police have released preliminary information in a double shooting that left one person dead on Wednesday, May 15. Police were called to the 14600 of Route 29 in Centreville around 9:30 a.m. where they found one man dead with a gunshot wound and another seriously wounded, FCPD Capt. Kent Bailey said. Bailey said that the community is safe and that the incident preliminary seems to be the result of an illegal drug deal. This is a developing story. Check back for more.

Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash that killed Sohail Iqbal, of Manassas, VA, just after midnight on Monday, Dec. 4 at the intersection of Lee Highway and Clifton Road in Centreville, Fairfax County police said.
