Roads Closed Around Naval Observatory For Secret Service Investigation
Some roads surrounding the Naval Observatory were temporarily closed on Monday morning to allow Secret Service agents investigate a reported gunshot that was fired in the area. At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Monday, April 17, members of the Secret Service Uniformed Division responded to a reported single gunshot near the intersection of 34th and Massachusetts Avenue NW, feet from the facility.
