Virginia Woman Sentenced To 55 Years In Prison For 2-Year-Old Son's Murder A 37-year-old woman from Hampton was sentenced to 55 years behind bars for her son's murder, NBC4 reported.  On July 25, Julia Tomlin pled guilty to second-degree murder, concealing a dead body, and other related offenses, according to the outlet.  Tomlin's two-year-old son drowned while he was unsupervised in the bath in 2019, and Tomlin, who was allegedly on heroin, later left his dead body in a box at at a trash incinerator, NBC said.
