Former Marine, 23, Died Doing What He Loved In Alexandria Motorcycle Crash, Loved Ones Say
A 23-year-old Alexandria motorcyclist killed in a crash on Tuesday, April 9 has been identified as a former US Marine. Kaden Olsen was broadsided by a DASH bus on Duke and North Ripley streets just after 5 p.m., police in Alexandria said. He died at the scene. A GoFundMe for Olsen's family remembered him as being "larger than life." "He passed doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle," reads the campaign launched by Brooke Jensen. Varsity Soccer Played Killed In Fairfax County Drug Robbery Was 'Fiercely Loyal'
A memorial fund has been created for one of two victims who died in a Fairfax County drug-related robbery. As of Tuesday, June 6, more than $4,800 had been raised on a GoFundMe for Braden Deahl, a senior and varsity soccer player at Washington Liberty High School. Services for the other victim of the May 29 incident, Jonas Skinner, were being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Shock, Sadness Spread Following Death Of Fredericksburg's Spencer Sullivan
Condolences are pouring in for 28-year-old Spencer Sullivan of Fredericksburg. A world traveler who longed for his next adventure, Sullivan visited 44 countries during his life died on May 11, according to his obituary. Family and friends were stunned at the news and memorials and remembrances flooded in across social media.
