Virginia Woman Sentenced To 55 Years In Prison For 2-Year-Old Son's Murder A 37-year-old woman from Hampton was sentenced to 55 years behind bars for her son's murder, NBC4 reported.  On July 25, Julia Tomlin pled guilty to second-degree murder, concealing a dead body, and other related offenses, according to the outlet.  Tomlin's two-year-old son drowned while he was unsupervised in the bath in 2019, and Tomlin, who was allegedly on heroin, later left his dead body in a box at at a trash incinerator, NBC said. $1,000 Reward Offered In Shooting That Injured 16-Year-Old Boy: Hampton PD Police are asking the community to help them find the suspect, or suspects, in a recent shooting.  Officers responded to a call about a shooting around 3:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Peabody Drive, Hampton Police said.  A 16-year-old victim was found at the scene, suffering apparent gunshot wounds outside of the residence, authorities reported. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.  Officials said the motive for the shooting is currently under investigation.  Individuals who come forward with information on the incident may …
