Crash On I-395 In Arlington Delays Traffic A crash on I-395 in Arlington delayed traffic Monday, Sept. 11. It happened near mile post 9.6 just before 1 p.m., and snarled traffic for about a mile on the northbound side just before the GW Memorial Parkway. The north left shoulder and left lane were closed. Barricaded Man In Car Closes Fairfax Intersection: Police A man who barricaded himself in his car closed a Fairfax County intersection Thursday, July 14, authorities said.Police responded to the scene at GW Memorial Parkway and Belle Haven Road in Belle Haven, and removed the man from his car around 11:30 a.m., county police said. The Parkway was expected to reopen shortly.
