Child Hospitalized In Serious Fairfax County Crash
A juvenile was hospitalized in a Fairfax County crash Tuesday night, July 11, police said. The accident happened at Route 1 and Holly Hill Road, in Groveton, around 11 p.m. A juvenile passenger was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and crash reconstruction detectives were called to the scene. A Fairfax County fire truck was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries, according to police. Fairfax County police say they've arrested the man responsible for a June 26 shooting that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries. Isaiah Johnson, 27, of Alexandria, was arrested Wednesday, July 13, during a traffic stop and faces many charges related to the shooting and having a ghost gun, Fairfax County Police said. Fairfax County police have closed the northbound lanes of Richmond Highway Thursday morning as they investigate a wreck that involved a police car, police said.
