911 Hangup Call Brings Large Police Presence To Fairfax High School A large police presence was reported at Fairfax High School Tuesday, June 6 due to a 911 hangup call, police said. The incident was reported just before 1:10 p.m. The school was reportedly placed on lockdown, but lifted around 2 p.m. when no active threat was found, police said. Students were commenting photos of themselves during the lockdown on the Fairfax County PD's tweet announcing the incident. Lion Run and Blenheim Boulevard in front of the high school were closed. Fairfax Teen Fatally Struck By Car Had Dreams Of Becoming Nurse, Loved Ones Say Support was surging for the family of a 17-year-old Fairfax High School student struck and killed by a car this week. Lesly Diaz-Bonilla's dreams of being a nurse were cut short Wednesday, Nov. 16 when she was struck while crossing Columbia Pike from Barcroft View Terrace in Bailey's Crossroads just before 9 a.m., according to a GoFundMe launched for her family, and authorities.
