Man Shakes 'Caustic Substance' On Woman's Clothing During Argument In Prince William: Police A 41-year-old man is facing charges after police say he tried assaulting a woman with a caustic substance during an argument in Prince William County. Mohamed Koroma was arguing with the 64-year-old woman on the 16200 block of Taconic Circle in Dumfries Thursday, Jan. 4 around 1 p.m., when he shook a can of cleaning powder toward her, Prince William County police said. The substance got on the victim’s clothing and no injuries were reported. Koroma fled the scene before officers arrived, an arrest warrant for him was issued, authorities said. Armed Dog Abuser Leads 12.5-Mile Pursuit-Crash In Lorton: Police A 30-year-old animal abuser was arrested after a 12.5-mile police pursuit in Fairfax County, authorities said. Daniel John Sol, of Lorton, approached a person walking their dog on the 9600 block of Eaton Woods Place in Lorton on Tuesday, Oct. 24, around 4 p.m., county police said. Sol picked up the dog and began shaking it, without provocation, police said. He fled the area but returned with a knife and threatened to stab the victim.
