Two Charged With Killing Rising Maryland Pro Boxer During Robbery In DC: Feds
Two men have been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting in DC of an up-and-coming pro boxer from Maryland, federal authorities announced. Jayvon Thomas, 20, and Lavar Hunter, 19, have been arraigned for first-degree felony murder while armed for their alleged roles in the November murder of 24-year-old Anwar “The Silent Assassin” Wingate last year.
