Young Children Arrested For Botched Purse Snatching In Northeast DC: MPD
Criminals in the nation's capital keep getting younger and younger. Two children - ages 9 and 13 - from Northeast DC were arrested over the weekend for an attempted armed robbery in their hometown, the Metropolitan Police Department announced. At around 12:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, police say that a woman was walking in the 500 block of 10th Street NE when she was accosted by the pair, though the woman had other plans in mind for the youthful offenders.
