Teen Suspect Arrested After DC Carjacking, Robbery: Metropolitan Police

D.C. police arrested a teen for his involvement in a May carjacking and robbery, authorities said.

On May 16 at around 9:50 p.m., Marquis Funderbunk approached a victim in the 2500 block of 9th Street, showed he had a gun, and demanded the victim's property, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Once the victim complied, Funderbunk fled the scene in the victim's vehicle, police said.

The 19-year-old was arrested on August 10 and charged with armed carjacking with a gun, officials reported.
