Body Of Spotslyvania Woman Pulled From Rappahannock River

Authorities have identified the body recovered from the Rappahannock River on Saturday, April 1, however, they were not releasing her name.

The 80-year-old Spotslyvania woman's body was pulled from the river in Fredericksburg Police Department around 10:10 a.m., the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.

The woman's body was brought ashore on Sophie Street.

No foul play was suspected.
