Jamal Matthews, Darnell Savoy, Stefon Freshley Plead Guilty Three men who shot a father and his 14-year-old son waiting to head to a WWE wrestling event in Northeast DC more than five years ago have admitted to their roles in the mistaken hit, federal authorities announced. District residents Jamal Matthews, Darnell Savoy, and Stefon Freshley pleaded guilty over the weekend to the Dec. 28, 2018 shooting of two people in the Clay Terrace neighborhood who were innocent bystanders.
