Trapped Worker Rescued After Trench Collapse In Northwest DC (Video) A plumber found himself in a perilous position on Wednesday afternoon when a trench he was working on partially collapsed, leaving him trapped. DC Fire and EMS personnel were called to the front yard of a home in the 3700 block of Warren Street NW at around noon on April 3, where a man doing plumping work fell into a hole and couldn't get out without a helping hand.
