Teen Hospitalized After Shooting in Arlington’s Green Valley Neighborhood A teenage boy is recovering from serious injuries after being shot in Arlington’s Green Valley neighborhood late Saturday, Nov. 16, police said. Death Of Inmate At Arlington County Detention Facility Being Investigated, Police Say An inquiry has been launched after there was a reported in-custody death at the Arlington County Detention Facility. Shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, police and fire crews were called to the facility, where 55-year-old David Gerhard, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, was found unresponsive in the medical unit, officials say.
