Hanging Juvenile Victim On Playground Saved By Deputies In Stafford Authorities in Stafford County saved the life of a juvenile attempting suicide this week. The juvenile called the suicide crisis hotline apparently before hanging himself by a belt at a local playground on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 2:30 p.m., the county sheriff's office said in a release. Deputy J.J. Holetzky quickly lifted the juvenile to relieve pressure on his neck and Deputy M.A. Floirendo assisted in removing the belt from around his neck.  Deputies J.A. Buzzard and C.D. Cops Talk Suicidal Man Down From Virginia Mall Parking Deck (Update) Police in Fairfax County were able to talk a suicidal man down from a mall parking deck earlier this week. Officers responded to the Springfield Mall where the man was threatening to jump from the roof of the parking garage around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6. "Quick-thinking officers engaged the man in conversation to calm him down and bought time for additional resources, including our Crisis Negotiators and Co-Responder units, to respond," the county's police department said.  Negotiators spoke with the man for more than five hours and were able to convince him to step off of the ledg…
