Stafford Deputy Nurses Sick 3-Week-Old Kitten Back To Health A Stafford County Sheriff's deputy saved the life of a 3-week-old kitten she found near-death on a sidewalk last week.  Deputy K.L. Busch spotted the fuzzy feline as it struggled to walk across the scorching-hot concrete on a 95-degree day, Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. The kitten was dehydrated, underweight, and lethargic. The cat's mother was nowhere in sight, so Busch scooped her up and took it to get help.
