Second Suspect Charged In Virginia Murder-For-Hire Conspiracy: Police
The second man wanted in connection to a murder-for-hire conspiracy that left 23-year-old Egypt Zapporah Carter dead in February has been apprehended. Woodbridge resident Denzel Scott Wade, 23, is in custody days after 27-year-old Drew Courtney Buchanan was arrested and charged for the murder of the North Carolina native. Investigators say they believe Buchanan pulled the trigger, but Wade was present at the time. One person is in custody and another is wanted in connection to a murder-for-hire conspiracy that left a 23-year-old woman from North Carolina dead in Prince William County, police say. A woman on her way to pick up her infant daughter at a relative's house was struck by gunshots fired by the relative's ex-con husband in Spotsylvania, now wanted on multiple charges, authorities said.
