Services For Teran Collins Jr., 26, Set In Fredericksburg
Services have been set for Teran Collins Jr., who died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 28, in Richmond, according to his obituary on the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service website. He was 26 years old.
Teran was born in Fairfax but lived in Beaverdam, his obituary reads. He was being remembered for his "contagious smile, teddy bear hugs, and pure heart," his obituary reads.

Fugitives Found With Drugs In Nighttime I-95 Stafford Stop: Cops
A pair of fugitives were found with drugs in a weekend traffic stop on I-95 in Northern Virginia.
Deputies pulled over the vehicle driven by 42-year-old Leonard Braxton on the northbound side of the highway in Stafford around 11 p.m. on Nov. 4, after the driver changed lanes without signaling multiple times, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.
Braxton, of Richmond, was wanted out of Prince William, Lancaster, and Fairfax County, while his passenger, Monica Reed, was wanted out of Stafford, police said.

Fredericksburg native Kyle Payne died on Thursday, July 6, at VCU Hospital in Richmond, according to his obituary. He was 38 years old.
Kyle was born in Fredericksburg and would go on to serve in the US Army. He worked private security guard for Admiral Security Company in Warsaw, his obituary says.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Tiffany Payne; mother, Barbara J. Hamilton; step-father, Jeffrey Redding; and father-in-law, Ron Wise of Fredericksburg, VA.

Support is surging for family members grieving the loss of the father and son killed in the Richmond mass shooting Tuesday, June 6.
A memorial fund for those surviving Shawn Jackson, 18, and Renzo Smith, 36, had been launched overnight.
The suspect, Ameri Ty-John Pollard, and Jackson apparently had an ongoing dispute, Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards said at a news conference.
