A 23-year-old woman is facing charges after a Good Samaritan picked up a toddler found walking alone in the streets outside a Prince William County apartment. Kayla Nicole Murphy was charged following an incident early on Thursday morning in Triangle involving a 2-year-old child who was rescued by a neighbor, officials say. Father Charged With Child Neglect After 3-Year-Old Found In Street Unsupervised In PWC: Police
A man who left his 3-year-old son alone to wander the streets in Prince William County is facing child neglect charges, police say. Terrell Anthony Edwards, 31, was arrested on Sunday and charged following an investigation into the incident, which resulted in nearby Good Samaritans securing the child and alerting the authorities. The incident was reported shortly before 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 25, on Graham Park Road near Purvis Drive in Triangle, when the boy was seen walking in the roadway without supervision. Man Charged With Firing Shots Inside His Home In Prince William County: Police
A 47-year-old man from Prince William County fired shots inside his home, authorities said. A 25-year-old female victim called Prince William police about a man brandishing a gun. When police arrived they found the Patrick Leon Lynn had fired shots within his own home at about 6:50 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28 on Purvis Drive in Triangle. Police said they also found drugs in the man's home. Lynn was charged with several weapons offenses and drug possession.
