Man Charged With Firing Shots Inside His Home In Prince William County: Police
A 47-year-old man from Prince William County fired shots inside his home, authorities said. A 25-year-old female victim called Prince William police about a man brandishing a gun. When police arrived they found the Patrick Leon Lynn had fired shots within his own home at about 6:50 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28 on Purvis Drive in Triangle. Police said they also found drugs in the man's home. Lynn was charged with several weapons offenses and drug possession.

Teenager Stabs 'Acquaintance' During Fight In Prince William County: Police
A teenager stabbed a 47-year-old man during a fight in Prince William County, authorities said. Thomas Lee Cornelius Smith of Bristow was arrested on Friday, Jan. 26 at about 8:15 p.m. for aggravated malicious wounding, Prince William police said. Smith was described as an acquaintance of the victim, and was involved in an ongoing dispute. Officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Hooe Rd. in Bristow to investigate an assault. The body of a man was found behind the shed of a local Woodbridge business, authorities say. Police responded to the 14100 block of Richmond Highway around 11:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10 to investigate a death after a body was reportedly found in the area, according to Prince William police. Upon arrival, detectives were unable to locate the body, eventually locating a person who was able to lead them to the remains of Michael Aaron Hobson II, 46. A 44-year-old inmate who'd been arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman reportedly tried to continue that trend when he attacked a guard at a Prince William jail with a shiv, authorities said. Salomon Alberto Nazar of Manassas is an inmate at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center at 9320 Lee Avenue in Manassas. Police in Prince William County arrested a man they say masturbated on a grocery store employee on Friday morning, June 24. Manassas Man Charged With Neglecting Child Who Came To His Rescue
A 5-year-old kid was there for a Manassas man when he needed help last week, but police say the man didn't reciprocate. Dillon Wayne Mahoney, 31, was tasked with watching the child on Sunday, May 26, but he was intoxicated and blacked out just after 4:30 p.m., Prince William police said. A 41-year-old woman pushed her way into a couple's Manassas condo during a fight and used a stun gun to attack them and threaten them with a knife, police said.
