Teens Targeting Women Terrorize Downtown DC During Carjacking Spree: MPD Three teens who terrorized drivers during a three-hour carjacking spree throughout DC have been arrested, the Metropolitan Police Department announced. Officers from the agency were able to quickly apprehend two of three teens - the third was caught by Mount Ranier police officers in Maryland - after they went on a tear earlier this week. The eventful night began at around 6:50 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, when a woman was exiting her vehicle in the 1200 block of Hamlin Street NE when the three surrounded her and demanded her keys; however, she was able to flee before they could steal the car. …
