Fugitives were among five people arrested in an undercover prostitution sting at two motels in Stafford County this week, authorities said. Stafford County Sheriff's Detective RJ Grella met a woman online on Dec. 12, and met up with her at the Staybridge Suites on Richmond Highway after a brief text exchange, Sheriff David Decatur said. Grella and patrol deputies made contact with the woman and found drugs in the room, Decatur said. Two Stafford men were arrested for robbing a local Motel 6, police said. At around 8 p.m. on August 16, deputies responded to the motel at 401 Warrenton Road, after the victim reported that one suspect kicked down his room door and demanded money with a knife, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Virginia Man Shot, Injured At Motel 6 In Prince William County: Police
One man is in the hospital and a suspect is in police custody following a shooting at a motel in Prince William County, authorities said. Police responded to the shooting at the Motel 6 in Dumfries around 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9, Prince William County Police said on Twitter. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. A suspect was also taken into custody.
