Police ID Victim Of Shooting That Shook Alexandria
Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that left a residential Alexandria neighborhood shaken this week. Eric Holmes Jr., 29, was found dead on the 800 block of W Glebe Road Monday, July 24 around 11:30 a.m., city officials said. Police are searching for a silver Nissan Rogue in connection to the incident. Police are asking anyone with digital evidence, video or audio files, to upload directly and anonymously to the online portal. Alexandria Police Arrest 22-Year-Old In Fatal Shooting
A 24-year-old was killed Monday morning, June 6, in Alexandria, and police say they've arrested the person responsible. The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Beauregard Street, Alexandria police said. Someone called officers after hearing gunshots. When police arrived they found Jonathan Cruz Villafuerte with a gunshot wound to his chest, police said.
