Maryland Man Killed By Pick-Up Truck In Southeast DC: Metropolitan Police The driver of a truck that struck and killed a Maryland man in Southeast DC may have known the victim, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.  Temple Hills resident Torre Desmond Gray, Sr., 37, has been identified by the agency as the person who was struck and killed by a pick-up truck driver on Saturday morning who initially fled the scene but thought better and later contacted police.
