Arraignment Held For Four Charged In Connection To September 2023 Murder In Southwest DC Four men charged in connection to a mass shooting that left one dead and five others injured inside a Southwest DC apartment more than a year ago, federal authorities announced. Shortly after 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2023, Assistant Metropolitan Police Chief Carlos Heraud said that officers rushed to the 200 block of M Street SW when they heard gunshots ring out.
