A Fairfax County man is facing new charges, many of them horrifying, following his arrest earlier this month. Craig Strasbourger, 31, of Vienna, was found with animal sex abuse material, child pornography, and apparently solicited sex from a minor, Fairfax County police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Thousands of cases of whole cantaloupes - many of which were shipped to the DMV region - are subject to a new recall, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced. Arizona-based Eagle Produce is voluntarily recalling 6,456 cases of cantaloupe that may be contaminated with Salmonella following a test at an FDA distribution center. Investigators from the Metropolitan Police Department have tracked down the teen shooter who was wanted for killing a man near the Catholic University of America. Jaleil Jones, 18, of Northwest DC, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed for the death of Robert Lavender this summer, authorities announced on Saturday. For the second time in less than two weeks, a man was killed near the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Southeast DC resident Robert Lavender, 44, has been identified by police as the man who was shot in the 600 block of Monroe Street NE near 7th Street NE and later died after being rushed to an area hospital.
