The Maryland man who joined his stepfather during the Jan. 6 insurrection at the US Capitol two years ago will have plenty of time to think about his actions on that fateful day.
Fallston resident Jacob Michael Therres, 25, who assaulted officers during the Washington, DC breach, has been sentenced to 40 months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release for assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers using a dangerous weapon during the violent incident.
