Minor Responsible For Majority Of Bomb Threats Targeting HBCUs, FBI Says The FBI announced that one minor is “believed to be responsible for the “majority of the threats" that have been targeting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country and throughout the region. All Clear: Police, Feds Investigate New Bomb Threat At Howard University Howard University in D.C. received another bomb threat on Friday, August 26, officials said. At around 2:30 a.m., the school community was alerted about the threat that targeted the East and West towers, according to the Howard University Department of Public Safety. This threat came to school after another recent threat was made directed at Cook Hall, a freshman dormitory, authorities said.
