Firefighters were at the scene of a major fire at an Arlington apartment building Monday morning, May 6. Significant smoke conditions were reported in the parking garage and throughout various locations of the building in the 1500 block of Key Boulevard. A second alarm was called as of 10:40 a.m.

More than a dozen people were displaced in Northeast DC by an overnight two-alarm fire that broke out in an area apartment building. Two Entrapped, Five Hospitalized In Fairfax County Fire
Five people were hospitalized in a Fairfax County fire on Wednesday morning, April 10, responders said. The blaze broke out on the 13900 block of Whetstone Manor Court in Clifton around 10:15 a.m., the county fire department said. Two people were trapped inside the home where heavy flames were reported. Two occupants were removed from the home and seriously injured. Three others were hospitalized, too, police said.

New details have been released after a person was killed in a fiery crash on I-295 that left one dead and several others injured. The Metropolitan Police Department detailed the events that resulted in a fatal crash on Friday morning in Northeast DC, though the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
