Family Of Mom Killed, Dad Hospitalized In Fairfax County Crash Sees Support
Support is surging for the family of a woman killed in a Fairfax County crash over the weekend. Yun "Iris" Hu, of Annandale, died at the hospital following the Sunday, Feb. 4 crash on Bradfield Drive and Braddock Road. Two others were also killed in the accident. Former MPD Officer Gets Jail Time For Fatal Crash That Killed Anne Arundel Couple
A former Metropolitan Police Department officer has been sentenced to more than a year in jail after pleading guilty to two counts of vehicular manslaughter in connection to a 2021 crash that killed a couple in Anne Arundel County, the state’s attorney’s office announced. This Maserati Does 185: Driver In Stolen Car Killed In I-495 Crash, State Police
Virginia State Police are attempting to identify the driver of a stolen Maserati taken out of Maryland who was killed after crashing into a wall while driving the wrong way on I-495 in Fairfax County. Investigators were called at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, to investigate a crash that was reported in the I-495 Express Lanes at Exit 49 heading toward I-66. Teen Friends Killed In Fairfax Crash Identified
Two teen best friends killed in a Fairfax County crash earlier this week have been identified. Ashlyn Brotemarkle and Ariana Haftsavar, both 16, died when the driver of the Lexus SUV they were riding in lost control and went off the roadway on Lee Chapel Road, overturning onto its roof around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, according to authorities and the victims' loved ones. One teen was extricated and hospitalized in serious condition while Haftsavar and Brotemarkle were pronounced dead at the scene.
