The spent fireworks went off around 12:55 a.m. on July 4, at a home on the 600 block of Stuart Court in Herndon, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said. Twelve people were displaced by the flames that ravage a two-story, single-family home, including one who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
