DC Council Member Trayon White Arrested By FBI For Allegedly Accepting Bribes: Feds DC Council member Trayon White, Sr., who represents Ward 8, was arrested in connection to an investigation into claims of bribery, federal authorities announced on Monday. The 40-year-old Democrat, who is the Chair of the Council’s Committee on Recreation, Libraries and Youth Affairs, which oversees several agencies including the DC Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services is charged with accepting more than $150,000 in bribes. DC Youth Curfew Enforcement Summer is coming to a close, schools are reopen, and there is a new curfew being enacted for the youth in Washington, DC.  As of Friday, Sept. 1, the "Juvenile Curfew Enforcement Pilot" took effect in the District as officials keep working to curtail the rash of violence that has placed DC in 2023.
