A death investigation has been launched in Loudoun County after a 19-year-old's body was found in the parking lot of an Ashburn apartment complex, police say. Michai Dandridge-Carter has been identified by the sheriff's office as the person found with a fatal gunshot wound outside the Ashburn Meadows complex on Wednesday night. A death investigation has been launched in Prince William County after a 19-year-old was crushed to death while working on his vehicle in Woodbridge, police say. Shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, the Prince William County Police Department received an emergency call after a man working underneath his vehicle was pinned when it fell on top of him in the 13400 block of Greenacre Drive. A man reported missing nearly a week ago has been found dead in Fairfax County, according to police. An alert was issued by the Fairfax County Police Department on Saturday, Jan. 13 after Jamison Jones had been missing for several days in the area of Coppermine Road in McNair. Arlington Inmate Dies After Being Found Unresponsive
A woman being held at a Virginia jail for trespassing was found dead in her cell, authorities in Arlington announced. Abonesh Woldegeorges, 73, died on Sunday, Aug. 27, when she was found unresponsive in her cell at the Arlington County Detention Facility, according to officials. Deputies say that they found Woldegeorges unresponsive in her cell shortly after 7 a.m. on Sunday morning. Police were called to reports of a missing person near the Chatham Bridge in Fredericksburg around 9:15 a.m., Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. The person was found and pronounced dead.
