Plans for The Ox Fairfax located along University Drive and Chain Bridge Road, were submitted earlier this month by developer Ox Hill Companies. The plans include a concert venue with a maximum capacity of up to 4,100 people designed to attract musical acts and other forms of live entertainment; a 163-room hotel; luxury condos; a distillery; conference center and more. Maryland Motorcyclist Dies In Fatal Virginia Collision: Police A motorcyclist died from his injuries after a crash in Fairfax, police said.Dexter White, 32, of Maryland was riding his motorcycle at around 3:30 p.m. on August 8, when he collided with another vehicle in the intersection of Chain Bridge Road and Eaton Place, according to the Fairfax City Police Department.  Both drivers were transported to a local Fairfax hospital, where White died of his injuries, officials said. Two Dead In I-495 Crash Weren't Wearing Seatbelts: Police Two unbelted men died and a woman was in critical condition following a head-on crash on Interstate 495 on Tuesday, May 17, authorities said. A Mazda 3 collided with a Buick Encore near the Chain Bridge Road exit in Fairfax, causing the Buick to burst into flames after the impact, Virginia State Police said. The Buick driver, Patrick Mullins, 32, of Catlett, Va., and Kaan Karabekir, 28, of Bethesda, Md., who was behind the wheel of the Mazda, died at the scene.
