At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, deputies spotted a wanted person in a vehicle heading north on I-95, leading to the pursuit that took them onto Centreport Parkway. The 19-year-old Stafford man rang in the New Year from behind bars after attempting to outrun members of the sheriff's office before crashing his Camaro, officials say. At around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, deputies spotted Zalmai speeding at 90 mph in a posted 45 mph zone on Richmond Highway near Twin Brook Drive. When a deputy attempted to stop him, Zalmai began speeding up and weaving through traffic, according to the sheriff's office.
