DC Father Killed In Maryland Remembered For Beautiful, Infectious Smile, Laughter A District man who was fatally shot to start the New Year in Maryland was targeted, and the attack was not random, police say, now his family is seeking answers. Early in the morning on New Year's Day, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 2900 block of Brinkley Road, where they found the 30-year-old Fowler suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Our Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Temple Hills.
