Pair Leading Wild I-395 Pursuit Try Swimming Across Roaches Run After Crash With Troopers Two people who sprung out of a vehicle and tried swimming across Roaches Run were in custody after leading Virginia State Troopers on a wild pursuit along Interstate 395, State Police said. The incident began just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, when a Virginia State Police trooper tried stopping a vehicle displaying improper registration, VA State Police said. When the trooper activated his emergency lights and sirens to attempt a traffic stop at 18th Street and S.
