Seven Of Eight Puppies Taken From Stolen Southeast DC Car Recovered, Police Say Members of the Metropolitan Police Department announced that seven of eight puppies that were taken inside a stolen car on Saturday afternoon in Southeast DC have been recovered. Shortly before 1 p.m. on Jan. 6, police say that a driver left their vehicle running and unlocked in the 1700 block of U Street SE when a suspect walked in and fled with eight 5-week-old puppies inside. 22-Year-Old Shot Dead In DC, Police Offer 25K Reward For Information D.C. police are investigating a recent homicide of a 22-year-old, officials said. On Oct. 2, Antonio Waller was shot in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, at around noon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.  Officials said Waller was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone with information on the suspect, or suspects, that would lead to their arrest, authorities said. Alert Issued By DC Police For Two Different Suspects Wanted For Murder The Metropolitan Police Department announced the identities of two suspects that are wanted for two separate homicides. On December 20, 2021, at approximately 12:30 a.m., police arrived at the scene in the 200 Block of Allison Street to find 17 year-old Samuel Hernandez suffering from gunshot wounds, the Metropolitan Police Department said.  Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The head of St. Anthony of Padua was stolen on August 10 from the 3400 block of 12th Street, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. The suspect, who has been identified as Marquez Parker, 44, allegedly forced a woman into a vehicle at gunpoint around 3:40 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, according to Metropolitan police.
